Crystal structure of GFP (PDB - 2HGD)

The Bioinformatics Support Unit is a joint venture between the Faculty of Medical Science (FMS) and the School of Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE). We aim to provide support for data analysis and experimental design from sequence analysis, transcriptomics, proteomics and beyond. Please email us on our helpdesk address: support@bsu.ncl.ac.uk. Finding us

The Bioinformatics Support Unit at Newcastle University has offices in two locations in the University.

In the FMS our offices and common user areas can be found on the second floor of the Leech Building in room M2046/M2046A.  Or you can call us on 0191 222 7253.

In the SAgE our office can be ground floor of the Devonshire Building in rooms G26.  Our common user area is in 1.16, please ask us for the door code if you require access.  You can call us on 0191  246 4833

  • New drive should be arriving today for the CISBAN cluster, around 1.30pm (today via TweetDeck)
  • HP have indicated that there is another drive in the RAID array that is causing the issues, they are sending a replacement (today via TweetDeck)
  • We have returned additional sets of log information to HP today to try and resolve the CISABN RAID issues which still persisit (today via TweetDeck)
